Nice of you Jian to share your first-hand experience of Swarathma. While preparing for the blogpost, I came across many fans talking admiringly of how the band connects with the audience.

Thank you so much for featuring Jishnu. He's been quite a celebrity in my college for a while now. I've got my own little story to relate about him.

I've been a fan of his ever since I saw Swaratma perform two years ago at Freedom Jam in Bangalore. It was by chance that I strayed into the stage area where they were playing, (kryptos was playing on another stage, and I had gone to get some food), and i stayed completely entranced, forgetting kryptos. I'd noticed Jishnu playing and figurd I'd seen him in school. After the show, I went up to him and told him the same which to my utter surprise generated a warm hug and an introduction to his wife. People say that Loyolites always respond to another Loyolite, but his was special. My friends were watching and they were totally impressed.

Ever since I've always caught them whenever they performed in Bangalore. Trust me, Swaratma live is a stunning stunning experience. They way they connect with the audience is just something that other bands dont. The music itself is so refreshingly different that you like it the first time you hear it. I could tell you how they fuse different influences and come out with brilliance, but nothing can beat being at one of their performances. The enthusiasm which the band brings to its live performances is what sets them apart.

PS: Jishnu, if you are reading, please plaease play at bombay. Lots.

Wow! I had no idea a Loyolite had been at NIT Allahabad, i thought i was the first one. Those two songs and BC Sutta were my 'Learn Hindi in 30 days' textbooks. It's nice to know that he was a part of those songs. Thanks, Ashok, for this gyan.
